Read, Restore, Reflect

Svadhyaya in Sanskrit means Self-study. It is one of our Niyamas, behaviors we observe and strive to adopt into our lives as good practice for personal growth and a better way to live.

When we explore with open minds through resources available to us, like books or knowledge and wisdom shared by others, then reflect on what it means to us, it’s a form of self-study.

When we fuse learning with pranayama/breath control, asana/yoga postures, we can quiet our bodies and minds to connect with potential for higher knowledge available to us.

Remember the 3 R’s in school? A little different for our lesson plan…

A new yoga class design available for you to do all practices. We’re calling it Read, Restore, Reflect. You can pre-read our featured book, then breathe, move, and connect with your guide Susan Layden, an experienced yogi and teacher.

We will announce the book prior to the classes.  In this special class we will contemplate the intentions of the authors in their stories. Similar to a traditional book club, but this one we will do the Fusion way

You’ll have time in class for some group discussion. This first one will be the Four Agreements and I’m very excited.  Feel free to send us your wishes for future books to be considered.

Some copies available at Fusion so pick one up and start your next Svadhyaya journey with us! See details below.

Perpetual student,
