Quality Time Fills My Heart

Our Fusion clock that fell off the wall, how I lose track of time sometimes.

My Smart Watch tracker on the Camino de Santiago with my Breathe. Move. Connect. bracelet, a gift from our first Fusion Yoga Teacher graduates, 2019". I value this Gift because it took time and thought to have it made for me.

This week I reveal my other primary Love Language of the 5 classics...Time. Last week I shared the power of Acts of Service. These 2 really go hand-in-hand for me because I recognize anyone who performs some act of service for me has given their precious time also. It is limited in life, so how it's spent is never unnoticed. It's ticking. I cherish it without even taking for granted.

I am a busy bee always running out of time for things I think or wish I could be doing. Both an early bird and night owl, and I still need more time. So, when I do share my time with someone, I am giving my love for them whether they know it or not because it is so valuable to me. But, that doesn't mean it is the recipient's primary Love Language. They may have more time on their hands and see it as no big deal, but I think it is! I feel loved, they chose me to share their time. Now you know.

If I know their primary Love Language is receiving Acts of Service, Gifts, Words of Affirmation, or Affection/Touch I should consider adding that demonstration of love when I give my time. For example, If I am meeting someone for a walk or any adventure whose need is Affection, I'd give them a hug, a need of Affirmation would receive a "thanks so much for spending your time with me because I really enjoy your company and your smile is so uplifting and our chats so interesting".

Love Languages are intertwined, but how we see them on a scale varies. Communicate what you need and why, and you will likely receive more. Ask what makes them feel loved, and you will likely give more. A balance of love energy.

Appreciate your Time in reading my blog,
