Power of 12 and Trust in Outcomes

Fusion enters our 12th year! That's right, it was also on a Monday, March 31st, 2014, that I excitedly opened our doors for our unique way to explore wellness and restore with Fusion Yoga & Wellness. Your other home, your sanctuary away from home. I said to myself with faith, "if I build it with pure intention, they will come". And you did. Thank you!

I practiced then and now, the yoga philosophy and of the 5 Yamas, Aparigraha, non-attachment, releasing my own expectations and trust in future outcomes. I always believe that if I maintain integrity, honesty while fulfilling my purpose that all will be provided. A universal Law of Attraction in motion. Karma, my positive actions will create equal reactions. I do my part and surrender all to be revealed when and how needed.

I love that our 12th connects with a powerful number recognized globally by scholars and theologians. Spiritually, 12 reminds us of divine guidance as it's associated with12 zodiac signs, 12 apostles, 12 tribes of Israel, 12 deities on Mount Olympus, 12 Imams of Muhammad, and 12 earthly branches in Chinese culture, for instance. We have a 12-month calendar with 12 lunar cycles, a dozen eggs. roses, baker's dozen, 12 inches on a ruler, etc. It's believed ancient Mesopotamians used a method of counting with their thumb over the 3 joints of each 4 fingers on one hand and perhaps 12 evolved for measurements from there as it's easily dividable to quarters and halves.

Our Fusion years have flown by. I remember our ever-evolving history as though it were yesterday. I scheduled myself up to 9 classes those early days. Even if no one showed up, I did. I knew you would be coming! I also knew we would evolve and offer special events related to mind body wellness. Our studio, a place to study, ourselves, our purpose and the world. Now we have an amazing Fusion Family that offers their unique gifts, I call their signature offerings. I trust that we whatever lessons, growth, healing and manifestations of our collective intentions have made our lives and others who know us, simply better. I trust in change, even when outcomes are unknown, Aparigraha practice in place.
