What happens when your heart chakra is cleared & open

The image captures what happens when your Heart Chakra is clear, open and radiating pure love vibrations. You know, that feeling you get when you may even get teary eyed, your heart flutters and sings. Chelsea from Arizona and I were roommates in the jungles of Costa Rica for 7 nights last week. I never shared a room with a "stranger", someone I had never met or spoken with in my life. I had to trust our retreat leader, Cheryl who told me we would be perfect together. Hmm, not an easy surrender.

We shared a 4.1 earthquake, hiding from tarantulas, flying Jurassic grasshoppers, and other unwanted creatures in our casita, telling them they were "not welcome inside and to leave please". We laughed, lots. We had a circle event of 15 amazing women with a moment of one-on-one eye gazing. I am always uncomfortable with this practice that seems like eternity. But not with Chelsea. After all our special late night chats, funny stories and wisdom sharing I was happy to see she was next to me for this awkward practice. Truth is, I could have done this with any one of the 15 beautiful soul sisters that I spent time with gaining insight to Self Love and diving deeper into our feminine energies. They all helped me level up in this area.

The Heart Chakra, Anahata represents the energy of love, kindness, compassion, and a healthy heart and lungs to circulate vital energy. Chant Y-A-M to help clear the space, wear something representing love to you and others, maybe pink or spring time green, even the word "love".

Yoga asanas like Puppy/Heart Melting Pose. backbends with shoulders back, and flexing the spine for the back or the heart, too. Do some Gorilla thumps with your fists to the chest with open mouth AH on the exhale breath sounds. Before you know it, you'll be so radiant with love it will be palpable. My heart space is as big as the sky after some introspection and clearing practices. I have committed to maintaining this state of love and sharing with all who are open.
