Persistence and Perseverance Pays Off

I was once told I hang on to things like a dog with a bone, apparently known to be tenacious. Some are naturally disciplined, but I need a strong reason and urgency, then I get going! I have also been called a "fireball", having high energy with determination but need purpose for any passion in the process.
I recall a motivational poster that inspired me, "You don't fail until you stop trying", reportedly by Einstein. Quitting a mission not being a good option unless the outcome is no longer desirable. Wisdom is evaluating that possibility to make the best decision.
Sometimes we have no choice but to take a path of persistence and perseverance. Like preparing for a storm, a challenging trip or work project, or then there's the annual tax filing. You get the idea. In yoga philosophy it's known as instilling Tapas, inner drive and self-discipline to get things done. In a physical practice it would including hiking to a summit or achieving a powerful yoga balance pose.

In 2021 at a Yoga Festival in Telluride, Colorado, I tackled the strenuous hike up to over 11,000 feet, feeling bitter cold, winded and tired. But Natalie and I made it to the spectacular view including double rainbows, one for each of us. The bonus reward for our Tapas.
I have sometimes wondered if my weekly blogs that need time and energy to create are worthwhile, an option but not a requirement. Because I received much positive feedback over the years and I learn and share in the process, it makes them worthwhile. Using old school thinking and writing from the heart without use of artificial intelligence except an occasional spell check and a dictionary. For now I do all the administrative duties with ingenuity to get blogs formatted and timely posted, tasked to keep my maturing brain stimulated with forgotten software programs.
Mission accomplished. My blogs get done, sent out through complicated technology systems, social media programs and remembering of new passwords. I have learned the ins and outs through trial and error. Yes, I see the same "oopsie" typos and formatting you may have witnessed although I proof them many times. I cringe when I see what was blind to me previously. So kind of you for enduring them anyway. I feel empowered and rewarded.
Please share any themes and events you would like to see in the future. And, if you prefer blogs weekly or maybe monthly.
So, what's your proud "pay off" moment because you persevered and kept the fire in you burning no matter the difficulty. Reflect and enjoy the memory.
