Discipline Days 5-11

Truth be told, I lacked discipline all my life. I always commit to fancy free and fun, procrastinating otherwise. If something doesn't interest me (taxes) but is important, it's on my back burner, causing me more stress as it lingers over my head. I get distracted with other to-do's. I can hear my mom, "Just get it over with!" This past week started off great then fizzled because I wasn't feeling great Day 8 and needed to rest. Proud to say, I used that day for Meditation exceeding the 20 minutes with 25! Awesome feeling.

Our 30 Day Wellness Winner was designed to do things I typically enjoy and are good for me, but often delay because of time limitations. I need more time!

Power of I:

Intention - desired positive outcome, why

Incentive - what's in it for me, reward

Institute - put it in motion, act, commit

Track your progress. Record all of the above on our Win with Wellness card or perhaps a journal. Our card helps you stay motivated, a reminder of what you have accomplished, you feel good. As you measure progress you notice patterns of discipline or lack of. Include your three I's.

I am loving every activity I have chosen for nature walks, yoga, and meditation. I am on track and empowered. More to do including read a book (started) and a donation.

Yoga philosophy teaches us Tapas, keeping the drive, discipline, the fire within to accomplish and transform. This is the first time I used a 30-day plan to create new healthy habits. So far, so good and having fun too! If I should miss a wellness activity one day (not yet) I will pick myself up and maybe do two the next. If you notice you moved toward more wellness, you have won. Always Fusion's mission statement, Ultimate Wellness.
